Entre érotisme et grotesque, la performance brouille les repères: aimer le corps, c’est goûter l’excès, le glissement du plaisir au dégoût. Ici, c’est le goût lui-même qui est mis en jeu, non comme simple affaire de préférence, mais comme champ de bataille. Beauté et laideur se retrouvent sur le même plan, et les codes du festif sont détournés pour faire surgir une matière instable, travaillée par la tension entre désir et rejet. Dans cet inconfort, le goût s’émancipe du simple jugement pour devenir force critique : non plus une mesure, mais un champ de dialogue, un terrain où chacun est appelé à se situer.

Andrea Vezga Acevedo is a costarican/venezuelan maker, performer and booty-centric movement researcher based in Vienna. Drawing from diasporic dance traditions and contemporary forms, her work explores movement as a language of liberation.
Elisabeth Bakambamba Tambwe(host/artistic direction). As an artist, choreographer, and director, Elisabeth B. Tambwe works with different forms and genres: performance, choreography, film, interactive and generative formats, as well as with various dramaturgies and spaces such as installations and stages. She is interested in the emergence of new forms of otherness and the unique relationships and languages they produce. What do they reveal about our humanity, and how do they challenge the concept of anthropocentrism? Her projects are transdisciplinary and collective, aiming to create shared spaces of research between performance art and the social sciences.
